A Christmas Carol Composition

A Xmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens, took place in London, England during Christmas time back in of 1843. Dickens wrote his novels during the Victorian times. Great britain was a severe place at this point with the lower and upper classes becoming clearly segregated. Dickens him self grew up included in the lower classes, and so this individual knew what it was like. It had been very hard to get the poor to survive, many of them having no alternate but to enter in the workhouses. This kind of seemed to be the worst place to end up, as much people would prefer to have perished than eliminated into the workhouses, these activities as a child was what motivated Dickens to create many of his famous books. The main conflict in the story was gentleman versus himself, as Ebenezer Scrooge, the protagonist, confronted many troubles (himself), the antagonist, with trying to be a better personWhy does the look of a solitary child have such an effect on scrooge and why is it important? Why does the sight of the solitary kid have this impact on scrooge and why is it important?.

Charles Dickens creates an image of Scrooge that is gradually changing from the cold person he's into someone who actually likes you others. Also by the time the first soul gets presently there one can visit a difference in Scrooge's persona. The initial scene of Scrooge's earlier is him as a schoolgirl all alone by Christmas at his institution. The ghost reminds Scrooge of him being by itself and this upsets Scrooge greatly. " 'The university is not nearly deserted, ' said the Ghost. ‘A solitary child, neglected by his close friends, is kept there nonetheless. ' Scrooge said he knew this. And this individual sobbed". This is one of the first scenes where Scrooge shows some sort of sentiment other than anger or fear. Again, later in this Stave Scrooge whines again. " Scrooge seated down after a form, and wept to view his poor forgotten do it yourself as he had used to be". After Scrooge gets unfortunate the Heart shows him Ali Etonne and Scrooge is so capable to see him because he was someone who arrived at cheer Scrooge up...
